Short version: every paid plan now includes more audio per week, and the price is exactly the same.
We spent the last few weeks reworking how our speech-to-text runs under the hood. It now does the same job with less compute. Instead of keeping that saving, we're giving it back as more recording time for you.
The new weekly limits
- Basic: about 6 hours of audio per week, up from 2.5
- Pro: about 16 hours per week, up from 8
- Max: about 50 hours per week, up from 25
Prices haven't moved. The free Trial stays the same too.
If you're already on a paid plan, there's nothing to do. The higher limits are already active on your account.
Why we could raise the limits
Most of what it costs to run CallBro is transcription. When we make that part cheaper, we can either keep the margin or hand you more usage. We'd rather you record the meeting, the lecture, or the long client call without keeping one eye on a usage meter.
These numbers are approximate. How far your hours go depends on the length of your audio, how fast people talk, and how much you use the AI features. For most people, a normal week of calls and classes now fits with room to spare.
What's next
We're not done with the transcription side. If we find more room, we'll do this again. For now, open CallBro and record something.
